The Pope came to Washington a few weeks ago and Mama has just been beside herself. She has really stepped it up recently with my Baby's First Catholic Prayers book. I have heard rumblings of something referred to as "the priesthood." I often overhear her say things like "Notre Dame," "vocation to a consecrated life," and "masters degree in divinity." Hold on a second..let's review what's at stake here:
Vow of chastity: No problem. Girls are yucky anyway.
Vow of obedience: This could be problematic. I usually like things my way. I'll have to get back to you on this.
Vow of poverty: I may be on board. Just one question...are priests allowed to drive firetrucks?
